Data protection principles

Users stay anonymous until they confirm work use

We only sent personalized data after you clearly confirm you're using an app for work and after informing you of the sent data.

Gathering minimum amount of personal data

We restrict our tracking to work app domains and only send pulses - they contain info of whether you used the app today or not - nothing more.

Only processing already existing data

We only process personal data which exists somewhere already - for example information about app users or user activity.

Purpose of Appcover

We're not tracking the apps you use for personal purposes, hobbies, etc.

3. You will see a confirmation message on the first time

What is a pulse?

A pulse is a privacy-friendly piece of personal data. It tells your IT deparment which app u have used each day, but nothing more like how much, where from or at what time.

IT department sees pulses for each app

This is designed to help them prioritize training, invest in apps which support currently heavily used apps and otherwise streamline the portfolio.
